I added liquid cya 24 hours ago. I had done the math wrong for 10pm and accidentally added enough for an additional 15ppm
Just did a test and I can still see the dot filled to 30. Should I wait awhile before adding another 10pm?

If using liquid CYA, you must use the entire bottle or you will never get the CYA increase you expect.
You can add another 10 ppm worth. Best to do it with granular stabilizer.

The suction in my skimmer seems weak, the debris just floats at the top. The pressure seems fine so I’m looking into that now. I honestly don’t know what a properly working skimmer looks like

If the weir door is down and water is coming out of your returns, you are getting good flow. It will not look like a tornado or anything in the skimmer.

FC levels are holding better now. No real change in cloudiness. Wondering if I need a better/bigger filter (which I’m willing to spring for)
Still cloudy. Working hard, adding LC every 2 hours.
