Define salt water pool...

If you ask me, getting a digital salt test meter ( "battery powered probe thingie") would provide a more accurate count of salt in the pool with little or no variance. You don't have to worry about expiration dates, or keeping the tester out of the sunlight, or hot conditions which can ruin the accuracy of test strips without you even knowing.

Actually any of them are good enough for our purposes. I personally use the drop test on our "non-swg" pool. It's as easy to use as any of the drop based tests in the TF-100 or K-2006 kits and to me it's better than the strips.
