As i get further into this self testing I have a question about daily fc loss.
Based on what i read here there may be a daily fc loss on average(key word) of 3FC.
Does that mean I must add that much daily?
How much LC would that be in a 15000 gal pool?
Am i going to need a tank truck of LC?

That is correct. Chlorine is a consumable and you need to maintain a sanitary level. Many people do add it daily. 58oz of 10% chlorine will add 3 parts FC.

PoolGate gave you the quick response. Yes you have to replenish but how are you testing? What is your CYA level? Pool store or guess strips don’t count.

I test regularly with a Taylor K-2006C. My CYA = 70 and I set my SWG to add 3.7 ppm FC. In our Las Vegas environment each pool is different, only you know how high your swimmer load is. How much sun your pool gets. i would add 4 - 5 ppm liquid chlorine and test regularly to know if you need to add less or more.

Check out the FC/CYA chart to know what your range should be. Stay away from the minimum.
