CYA Price

What is a "good" price for CYA? In the past I have bought the Clorox brand at Wal-Mart because of the Clorox coupons. I saw a review on here last year for CYA purchased on eBay. As long as it stays dry until I'm ready to use it is it ok to buy in bulk? Dry, inside storage space isn't an issue. Thanks!

Walmart sells Clorox Pool Stabilizer 4lbs for $14.86 or $3.71/lb. I went into my local pool store for some MA and asked them what their price for Stabilizer was. They had a 15 lbs pail for $40 ($2.67/lb) and an 8lbs bag for $20.

Shop your local pool stores first.

except for the online bulk MediumMo mentioned, i havent seen it anywhere around here for less than $4/lb. our walmarts used to carry it but i have not seen any in the stores this year. price is higher at pool stores, but then i dont frequent them often. hehe

In case anyone is looking for a great CYA price, I just purchased a 25 lb. box on eBay for $40.45 (free shipping and sold by backyardpoolsuperstore) and received 10% back in eBay Bucks when using the app (valid 6-3-18 only) and an additional 5% back when using my Chase credit card connected to PayPal, making the total price $34.39 or $1.38/lb.
