CYA FC confusion

Same with me. Than I found TFP. So I've been slowly dropping from 125 to 100 that I'm at now. I started at 80 too. They 'made' me buy a 25 pound canister of + Alakalinity. I'm so happy I only put half of what they told me to.

Im sitting at 150 but not going to touch it unless the ph gets unstable.

I'm close to the border of Florida, and my cya is 70. It doesn't seem to be an issue for me as the pool isn't large and I add fc daily. We are in a heat wave right now and I add 30 to 50 ounces of 8.25% bleach. The pool is crystal clear and not a slippery spot on the liner this year. The TFP method works, but it requires accurate tests and diligence by the owner.
