Hi all,

There is a hairline crack along the ball valve housing. I’m contemplating if I should replaced this valve myself or hire a pool company. There isn’t much pipe clearance and I’m afraid this might be a bigger project. Any suggestions? Should I replumb the whole assembly as the rest of valve may fail the same way?

How confident are you about your PVC skills? Replacing just the valve on the left wouldn't be too difficult as there is probably enough movement in that last pipe to allow for a good repair. Use a 2-way Jandy if you, or someone else, do the work.
Trying to replace both ball valves, or all three valves there is a much more difficult job, but doable.
