Copper Pipe in Pool all Winter

I recent opened my pool and he pulled out a copper pipe as long as the length of the pool. Needless to say the pool was black and it is still green. There's a lot of sediment at the bottom of the pool. How do I get this copper out of the pool and get the pool clear? The same company closed the pool too. I don't understand how did it get left in the pool.

That is unfortunate. The only way to remove copper is to exchange the water, or at least a large amount of it. You can't just filter it out. Copper stains can be extremely difficult to remove. What type of pool surface is this? What has your pool company who was paid for this service had to say about it? Are they picking up the tab required to remedy the situation?

I would question why that copper pipe is in the pool. Who uses a copper pipe for closing?
There is probably more to the pool issues then just the copper pipe.
