Contract signed...Should be swimming in April, NW Houston

New bottle of reagent.
From Pool School, Extended Test Directions:
Sometimes a static electric charge can build up on the R-0009 dropper bottle tip, causing the drops to be smaller than usual and making the test read higher than actual. You can prevent this by wiping the tip of the dropper bottle with a damp cloth or tissue before you start and after each drop.

It is an amazing pool. I noticed your equipment pad work.....after working on my SWG, replacing the unions I decided if I ever build again I would have a pool room with a nice bolted down stainless steel table topped with a rubber mat and bolt my pump and SWG to it plenty spaced apart so I never have be bent over with a small hacksaw cutting off a union, ever again.

Enjoy the weekend out there!

A little update, well we use the pool constantly, still tinkering with the automation as I discovered the hot tub and pool are really two separate zones. If I isolate the hot tub to keep it from heating the pool I end up with WAY HIGH chlorine levels...So with it in spillway setting I can turn it over and blend both the pool and hot tub water. This has two end results. 1. Constant Chlorine level and 2. A semi heated pool.

Well I started tinkering a few weekends ago, and built me a mist chiller. I had a separate sump pump, a few fittings and some watering nozzles and BAM, a 5 degree drop over night. I leave it in 90% of the time unless we are having a party. It is only 1/8 HP so power draw is not really bad.

Really simple build and less that 75.00.

John

That mister looks neat! Take a pic of it working please.

That pool came out so pretty and now the plants are starting to really do their thing! Love the colors!!!

Those wood planters are very pretty. Did you make them?

KIm,

Thanks, yes I am making them. The larger one is 3ft sq top x 2ft sq bottom 32" tall or deep.
The smaller ones are 24"x18"x 24" NOCE Travertine just like our coping.

Here are 2 pic's of one plumeria in bloom, I moved her Friday evening so she is a little droopy. Also the mister in action. I should have 6 Plumerias with blooms within the Month of June and continual until Oct/Nov.

Thanks again,
John
