Never had an issue. After opening this year can not get the chlorine to stabilize. Pool co sold us chemicals …I’ve used to no avail. (Chlorine, stabilizer etc).Directions say get chlorine up to range then add CYA. Another site says the opposite. I can’t get the chlorine up to a normal range. So when do I add the CYA??? Help

So regardless of low or no chlorine reading you can do the CYA…then shock same time?

Read the slam process in pool school on this site. CYA level for slam since you don't have any should be the lowest on the slam chart.
