Cloudy pool

Pool is blue but has a cloudy haze that isnt improving over the last 72 hours. Here are my numbers from Taylor test kit. Had a small amount of Alage but it’s gone but thinking I might have to do a slam. Running filter 24 hours a day and backwashing sand filter as needed. Wondering if Ph Hugh could be problem

cYA between 3O and 40 so will say 35.

As long as the pool does not overflow, should be no effect.
The pH is not high.

I’m glad you mentioned this . I just went and did my test to set FC level for overnight loss and was already down to 6.5 . 1.5 in hour. I will confirm overnight . If I do SLAM do I drop PH to 7.2 first then start?

Surprised but I passed the overnight Chlorine loss test.
6.5 last night
6.0 this morning.
no chlorine was added. Maybe a touch clearer this am. Sand was changed last year . just wondering if it was slow to clear because dead Alage I got out ? Just wondering should I try to add anything or just let it keep filtering
