Closed pool = birdhouse!

For the last 2 years, upon re-opening my pool, I take the cover off and find a dead bird or two at the bottom. :puker:

I'm guessing they see the holes in the liner where hoses were and think that it might make a good nesting place or something.

Anyway, I need some weatherproof ideas to cover the holes that will keep the birds out without leaving the hardware in the liner.

If you just want to cover the holes try some sheets of flexible magnets. Sandwich the pool liner between 2 sheets of magnets. You might try a set of magnetic air register covers.

The magnets were a fail. They are just too weak and won't hold together through the vinyl liner. :(

I'm thinking about just rigging up something I can loosely screw into place to block the holes. If I invent something genius, I will post it (patent pending). :)
