Opened the pool last month as the water temp was approaching that 60 mark. We had a really bad wind storm that blew, kid you not, 4-5” of sand into my pool. I have cleaned out the dolphin at least 30 times and have had to manually clean out and replace the DE in my 48sqft DE filter twice already. The color of the water has finally turned from dark muddy brown to a crystal clear blue allowing me to see some remnants of dirt still sitting on the bottom in which it will probably take the dolphin 1-2 more runs before it’s all cleaned up. It’s been a long 3 week pool opening process but there is light at the end of this tunnel. Here are a few pics for your enjoyment.

Where did the sand come from? What a mess!

I live on the corner and directly to my west is a giant corn field. Currently the field is just dirt as they have already harvested a few months ago. The only thing that separates my pool and the field is a 6ft privacy fence. that doesn't block much, lol
