Clear Water w/ Green Tint - not cloudy, no debris

The swcg runs five hours a day with a solar cover at it stays at a FC level of 7-9. I've noticed some rust on our ladder and I am wondering if that is causing the green tint in the water. Not cloudy. Chlorine holding steady. No CC's.
The tint showed up after the heat really picked up the last two to three weeks.

Could be. Rust/Iron is yellow. Is your liner blue? Yellow+Blue = Green? Is it a metal ladder that is rusting or a plastic ladder with rust stains? Do you know your iron situation in the fill water?

I don't know the iron situation but it has always been crystal clear until the past few weeks. Ladder is showing signs if rust. Pool liner is blue.
