Cleaner hose no longer staying attached to Barracuda

Hello all,
We have a Barracuda pool cleaner we purchased 4/22 - it has been working fine until a week ago,
The hose from the skimmer to the cleaner no longer stays attached and comes off easily before the unit is lowered into the water.

The hose does not appear to be cracked, I have swapped out several hoses all do the same thing - slip off.

Anyone know how to fix this? Our local pool guy has no clue what is wrong or how to fix

What about the Barracuda connection (cracked?) Post photos of each and we all take a look at it.

It doesn't appear to be. The pool repair place still has it, but I will post pics once I get it back. I'm not overly confident that they will be able to fix it as they've had for a month now.
