Ok, my yard has had bouts of these pests. I had my pool put in last July when they were dying off. Now the excavator dug from 6-20 inches and a sand base was put down. My concern is if any of these things somewhow is under my liner and will be digging out in late June. Does that happen where they have dug up through a liner? I would hope the pressure of the pool would compact anything but I tend to have issues when others don't. Thanks
We get something similar here in Portugal. They scare me. I've not seen them attacking or carrying anything, I just find them dead
in light fittings sometimes.
We have wasps here in the FL panhandle that will attack so-called carpenter bees ... big black and yellow bumble-bees ... it's a violent scene - the wasp always wins ... but the noise - the buzzing between the two is incredible!
