That is why there is a range already ... 30-50ppm ... depending on your sun exposure.

Oh, i did not realize until now.
On the Recommended Levels for your pool, they only propose 30-50 range without explication about why choose 30, 40 or 50 ppm.
Actually i was targeted 50 ppm, but with my poor sun exposure, i will now target 40 ppm.
Maybe add a specification on the Recommended level page?
There is nothing wrong with using 50ppm in the shade ... just means you will use less chlorine.
