Is the water coming out of the returns at the same force it usually does? If so, maybe the gauge is bad.
Cartridge Filter only last 16 months?

I spoke to the PB this morning and he thinks that might be the issue. When I told him that the PSI doesn't change when taking the filters out (even though it still drops to 0 when the pump is turned off), he thinks the gauge is faulty.
Anyone have any recommendations for a replacement gauge? I found this one on amazon.

Turns out the gauge was faulty. The new one from TFTkits was great, and after putting it in it read 19PSI. So, I just have an extra set of cartridge filters in the attic, guess I should've been a little more patient!
On the other hand, our heater still isn't working. I can hear it firing up but won't stay on (screen is blank too). PB thinks it might be a fuse, so we'll see.

Glad to hear about the new gauge! Post about your heater in the Everything Else forum. You just might get even more help.
