I am using the four ports already and I need one more for my last remodel. Is there a device I can use to add an extra port somehow?
Thanks
Thanks
Thanks for replying. Could you please guide me on how to accomplish it? I would really appreciate it.Not the Easytouch.
You can add one using a Relay and a transformer.
You can control an actuator using a high voltage AUX relay using this circuit. Aux relays use two wires - 24 VDC and ground. Valve actuators use three wires - two 24 VAC lines and ground. AC on one line will turn the valve one way and AC on the other line will turn the valve the other way. Thanks for replying. Could you please guide me on how to accomplish it? Thats amazing thanks ! do you have the model number of the relay that I should buy? Thanks again. You can control an actuator using a high voltage AUX relay using this circuit. You could use the Aux relay to control the 24 VAC so that it will turn the valve using the following circuit. But normal Aux relays won't work as they do not have any Normally Closed contacts. You need a relay that has NC and NO contacts.
Look for an OMRON 24V DC relay coil with NO and NC contacts.Thats amazing thanks ! do you have the model number of the relay that I should buy? Thanks again.
Look for an OMRON 24V AC relay coil with NO and NC contacts.

I lead you astray. You want a DC coil on the relay.Look for an OMRON 24V DC relay coil with NO and NC contacts.
Making this change myself would void the guarantee on my motherboard? You can control an actuator using a high voltage AUX relay using this circuit. Aux relays use two wires - 24 VDC and ground.
