Bug Hazards in the Pool

My wife ended up in urgent care yesterday. Her lip blew up like a balloon. The staff were so concerned that they took her back immediately ahead of everyone else in the waiting room. They were concerned she would go into anaphylactic shock. They couldn't tell what caused it. They asked about food allergies and if she got hit with something. The only thing we could think of is that she swam laps in the pool before this all happened. We think a spider bit her. They gave her a steroid shot which soon took the swelling down. She now has two epipens just in case.

Anaphylaxis is no joke. Hopefully it won't happen again!
