We opened our pool today and everything was working fine. The pool company may or may not have come back to replace the UV filter bulb later when we were away from the house. On our return, the equipment had no power and breaker tripped. When we try to reset the breaker, it trips immediately. At the pool equipment, the only thing that happens before it trips that we can see is the Jandy JEP-R timer flashes on and then off. No noise from the pump. The breaker is a Siemens 2 pole 20amp GFCI. All of our equipment is 3 years old. We had a couple times last season that the breaker tripped, but it always started working again before we could get anyone out to look at it. Is there any easy trouble shooting we can do?

I’d look around at whatever the UV bulb thing is for something out pf the ordinary. Disconnect things one by one until the breaker stops tripping and you can find whats failed.
