Brand new pool owner - In-ground Florida SWG

Hi everyone, brand new pool owner. Well not quite, we’re like 2-3 weeks from filling, waiting for the cage to get finished then scheduling plaster. I’m in SW Florida, plaster in-ground pool and sunken spa about 14,000 gal total, Pentair equipment with SWG. My brother owns an above ground in IL and has gotten me started on DIY chemical testing, I plan on ordering the TF Pro Salt kit with smart stir per his recommendation.

Hope that’s enough starter info, would welcome any and all tips to start out with a clean pool ASAP since my kids are chomping at the bit to jump in. Thanks in advance everyone.

Don't forget to fill in your signature like mine below. Make sure the SWCG cell isn't undersized as we recommend minimum 2X pool capacity so in your case the pentair ic40 will be 2X plus which is perfect.
