I am getting ready to install a new heater and I will be cutting and moving plumbing. Currently I have a polaris booster pump and inline salt water chlorinator. The booster pump T union is 1.5 inch plumbing and the salt water chlorinator is 2 inch plumbing and my plumbing has adapter couplings from 1.5 inches to 2 inches for the difference in the booster and chlorinator. I've looked but cant find if it is okay to use 2 inch tee for booster pump hose so I will not have to use so many adapters? The return of the booster pump is dedicated for vacuum and is 1.5 inches but I really wouldnt think it would matter with all the adapters being used right now. Thanks for the help.
