Bleach prices 2013

Following Bama Ramblers lead, I tried some Dollar General bleach last night.
Small dose to the pool and it came out dead on. 2.50 of 8.25% (121 oz.)
Lately I've been going to Walmart and paying 2.98.

Glad I could help. I don't notice any pH bump when I use it either, so I don't think it contains any excess lye.

Do appreciate the tip, but now I have to eat some crow about dollar store bleach.
I forgot the salt and pepper though.

Not much crow though. I've looked at a lot of dollar store bleach and their's is one of the very few that lists the strength on the bottle.

Just don't get fooled into buying their "Top Job" brand thats priced at $1. Its less than 3%.

BTW, anyone know how to read the date code on the Dollar General brand?

* NOTE: I am using the MSDS here for the Cloralex. I also don't remember the exact price as the girlfriend threw away the receipt so I'm going off memory (which is probably wrong). And with that said, I'm not even sure if Cloralex is good for a pool.
