Black & Decker won't automatically start when switching back to Scheduled Mode

I recently installed a new Black & Decker 3.0 VSP and, overall, I have been very happy with it.

It has one quirk, though, that is annoying, and I'm not sure if it is indicative of a problem or not.

I will switch from scheduled to manual mode to clean and add chemicals and then switch back to scheduled mode.

However, after switching back to scheduled mode and hitting the on/off button to restart it, literally nothing happens. It just sits there showing 0RPM.

If I then hit the speed button for the current time frame, it immediately starts up and works just fine and stays on schedule. But, from the videos I've watched, it is supposed to start up by simply pressing the on/off button.

Am I missing something?

I know your question is a couple weeks old, so you may have resolved it. Or it may be a funny quirk with the B&D models. Not sure. I'm going to modify your thread title to clearly highlight Black & Decker. If you still need answers, please let us know.
