What’s your favorite sand to use? Im between Aquaquartz and Mystic White II. I’m reading mixed reviews, some say Aquaquartz is too small for Intex filters. Mystic White II is double the price of Aquaquartz, is it worth the extra cost?

Unless you want to spend the extra, plain old filter sand (about $12-$15/bag) is the best thing you can use. Filter sand is a 20 mesh sized sand (about .03 -.05mm), regardless of brand as that is what sand filters are designed to use.
