totally agree, i did not want to paint the pool, at all. I spend allot of time trying to fix the issues before painting and I like the original pool plaster, allot. But pouring more and more acid was just eating away the plaster and making it much more sharp and more and more holes in it. Anyways, i went ahead and paint the first coat last night (will do double coat for sure, tomorrow morning). I used white paint but mixed little of aquamarine....will post pics when all done... Also, the yellow stuff was not part of the plaster; if you look at the pictures...it's only up to the water level...
