Hello! We are in the middle of a new pool build. We went with the imagine fiberglass pool with an auto cover. All the photos on site show really nice, sleek looking pools with auto covers. Our PB installed auto cover about two feet off the back end of our pool because our skimmer is down there and that the cover will go over the skimmer. He has poured concrete and saying we didn’t bring it up during the drawing which we didn’t realize was going to be bland concrete. And nothing at all like the photos we had seen anywhere! Our concern is that we are going to have this unsightly gap at the back end of our pool between the pool and auto cover. Does anyone have experience with this?? One thought now other then ripping out the poured concrete is do epoxy or sundeck. Has anyone done this? Thanks for your help!

Welcome to TFP. Show us a photo, please. There should be very little gap between the end of the cover and the pool coping.

It is about 2-3 feet and PB says it is because of skimmer and that is why he didn’t have choice, he doesn’t want to tiles as slippery
