Attached hot tub draining

Hi
I wanted to check on something. I have to partially drain my attached hot tub in concrete pool to replace. the lightbulb. I was wondering if draining the hot tub could cause it to pop out? I am still keeping water about half way. My light fixture cord is not long enough for take it out from full hot tub. Thanks

I need to keep it partially draining for a day or two so I can order new light bulb

Most concrete pools are okay to drain completely, assuming water tables are lower than the pool.

Spa's are drained all the time to replace the light. No problems
