Atlanta Area New Build

I have the maytronics active 30 on order. It was one of the very few in stock at Marina and has been shipped already. Should receive it shortly.

builder did include the dedicated pressure line for a cleaner even though we had specced it without. No problem, I can figure out what to do with the line or just ignore it.

Our tile and coping choices are available, but they offered to change the “decking” from 6x12 to 12x24 which the wife preferred. The idea is that ten coping and decking will make a 24” wide surround at then edge of the pool. They’re going to mortar set the decking pavers ans butt up the ends as close as possible, no grout use per wife’s spec.

coping is bull nose, paver will be straight edged on the back face where the transition to landscaping on two sides and then turf on other two sides will occur.

I think that’s about all I have to update for now!

I used my pressure side cleaner line as a water fill pipe. I tied it into my sprinkler system and made it a zone. Now I can run that zone for however long I want and don't have to worry about remembering to turn the hose off.

Ok so I didn’t get this updated as frequently as I had wanted to originally. Here’s some pics to follow up.

Had to correct some problems real-time with the shotcrete. They didn’t fully cover the rebar and acted like they didn’t know what to do. So I had them adjust dimensions to extend the ledge and keep the steps uniform dimensions and bury the rebar the proper depth. No contractor on site to take care of the issue, it was all on me of course. That was the only major snag that thankfully was averted. We lost 9” of swimmable area to the extended steps and ledge.
