Aquarite goldline contrôler

My neighbor has a controller that he no longer uses. He's only used it for about 4-5 months each year over the past 8 years. Do you think it's worth buying for $80 CAD? Or it better a new version

Is this contrôler fit on all cell size ?

I just ordered a new 40k cell but I don't have a contrôler yet

That box was manufactured in August 2011 so is 13 years old.

Aquarite boards can develop various component issues. Read Hayward Aquarite SWG - Further Reading

I would not buy a used system without closely examining the board and components. You also want to know the firmware version in it.

Thank you for the update. I inspected it and found that the PCB was damaged around the transistor, so I will buy a new one after all!

16 years old.

You can replace the thermistor.

Tell the neighbor that you will pay them after you verify that it works.
