Does anyone own or have experience fixing Aquabot roller issues? Inherited this broken robot cleaner with our pool and house purchase. Was originally purchased in 2008, so I'm also wondering how long the thing will last and if it's worth trying to fix it.

Appears to be a broken WHEEL TUBE ASSY. - AS38253CGY. There are some sellers of parts, and I figure I can probably handle fixing it myself. If anyone has any insider knowledge, please share!

Thanks. I ended up taking it to a pool shop and they were able to fix the wheel assembly. It worked for several days but lately has been acting up, not wanting to start at all. Not sure what the issue is, but it seems electrical-related.

Did they change the roller assembly or is it the same part acting up. There is a motor for a drive and a motor for the suction, one can be bad independent of the other.
They changed the roller. Hard to say what the issue is, but the initial propeller startup doesn't even begin. That's always the first sign of life on startup.

Turn the cleaner upside down, outside of the pool. That puts it in "test" mode. The pump should run first and progress through two different speeds. Then, the pump will stop and the drive should run. If you are still working on this, let us know the results.
