Since we're moving the pool I'm looking at options for a more soft feel underfoot. Does anyone have any experience with the Gorilla Pad products? If so, how are they? And does anyone suggest any other options? Thanks!
Gorilla pads are kinda thin. Not much better than a sand base. I have one under my pool, mainly for tree root problems. Many people put extruded polystyrene under theirs. 1/2" to 2" has been used.
For extruded polystyrene panels at Lowe's...to get enough to put together to make a big enough circle is going to run close to $500. Think I would just go with the Gorilla pad, and at least wouldn't have to worry about tree roots and grass.
