Anyone interested in helping me find a leak?

I called out American Leak detection the other day and it cost me almost $700 to find a leak. I still have not verified the leak by cutting the concrete where they way the leak is, I will do that this weekend, but it was on of my skimmers going back to the equipment.
I did a bucket test though and was still seeing a bit too much water loss I thought so I turned off the pump and closed the hot tub valve and after about a day the hot tub was mostly drained. So now I think it is actually two leaks I have.

I drained the hot tub and I am running a bucket test right now with no pump running and the found leak skimmer suction closed. If that passes I will test with pump running. If that passes I will test with hot tub filled up but leak 1 return still closed.

I was thinking I could look for the hot tub (suspected) leak myself. I know that they cap all the returns but I am not exactly sure what else they do (i was at work) and I am wondering if I can just replicate it. I saw they had a scuba tank and from some testing they did a couple years ago I think they use some kind of bladder to block the pump side and then shoot air or water into the lines with everything blocked off and then listen for bubbling / leak sounds. I was wondering if I could just buy some plugs and some kind of listening device from Amazon and check for the second leak myself.

I found this site https://leaktronics.com/swimming-pool-leak-detection-equipment/ but it is way to expensive to be worth it.

This is more in the price range: Amazon.com

Any ideas or suggestions?

With an elevated spa you need check valves or it drains to the pool level when the system is off. They often go bad and 'leak' back into the pool. Start there.

Also, you need to plug the leaking skimmer line in the skimmer itself to stop the leak. Closing the valve at the pad doesn't stop the leak because water will flow into the skimmer from the pool and down to the leak.

Sorry for the late reply. I came down with Covid AND Strep and that put me out of commission for a bit.
I did plug the leaking skimmer line and I drained the hot tub and I no longer have a leak.
I bought a diamond blade yesterday and will be cutting the concrete where the skimmer leak is to fix that. Once I have done that I will unplug the skimmer and teste again.
If there is no leak after that I will fill the hot tub backup and see if i get any leaking from there and will post back my results.
