Any way to quiet gurgling of pool drain from spa?

This is really a minor issue, but since I’ve opened my pool up for the Spring, the pool drain is now gurgling when water surface is disrupted. I did a search to find out if there were any silencers for drains like this? Also, it looks pretty ugly. First world problems.

Noise is pretty common for any/all spillways. The volume varies across pools and with the amount of spillover.

Are you saying it was quiet before?

As far as how it looks - generally builders will create a faux skimmer (entirely different design) or place a decorative grate in front of the spillway.

It was quiet when it was plugged during the winter use of spa of course. Never quiet when the water is draining out of it since opened. I will see if I can find a decorative grate, thank you so much for your response.
