Wow! My test kit came in today, that's amazingly fast! I was so excited!

Here are my results:

FC 15
CC 2
PH 7.2
TA 130
CYA 40

My FC level is almost perfect so now I just maintain that level until I pass the overnight test right? My water is looking better already!

Hi everyone,

So I did not pass the overnight test, FC dropped from 16 to 12. I've added 2 more bottles of bleach. Although I didn't test until 9:45, my husband got up with the baby and let me sleep in.

Here's my question: The algae that had been hanging out on the wall was a green color. We have been brushing it and it would come off like a powder. Now this morning we have white looking patches where some of the algae had been. These do not come off when being brushed with the nylon brush. Any ideas???
