All balanced but, "Is it safe?" (Marathon Man reference...get it?)

Hi
We're big fans of TFP and have had great success with the TFP method for the last 4 years.

One thing I'm wondering about, because we don't change the water periodically (just drain about 25% in the fall and let the rain refill it.)
Is there a build up of decomposed chemicals - for example from the quart of Poly-Quat we use to close the pool in the fall?
Or any other build up of anything that isn't monitored by the TF-100 Test kit?

More generally, does it make sense to completely change the water every "X" years?

Thanks,
Steve

On the Eastern US, we replace so much of our pool water with fresh rainwater that the need to "start over" is eliminated.

Almost perfect numbers, by the way. I'll bet your pool is crystal clear.
