AGP Base Material

Hi All. Looking for ideas for base material. Last year I used 1" foam board. It worked ok but was basically destroyed when we took the pool down. I figured it would be but....
This year I am thinking of 3/4" marine grade plywood with indoor/outdoor carpet on it. I want a somewhat portable base because I am not sure if this years location will be permanent.

i am planning on using anti fatigue mats under mine. this will be the first time for me.
