Does anyone have experience with any of the aftermarket surge boards for Pentair equipment that are now on Amazon? As an example:
My surge board is fried AGAIN...4th one in 5 years (along with 3 Intelliph controllers). All but one has been covered under Pentair warranty. I was going to mod the Intelliph wires and add an inline RS485 surge protector when the warranty ran out...but kept putting it off and now the Intelliph controller and surge board are fried again, and out of warranty.
The surge board is a simple yet poorly designed component...and it costs $200+ for the Pentair OEM part. Thinking of taking a chance with one of the aftermarket boards this time.
