Advice on pump replacement needed

Hi,

I have a Pentair Sta-Rite 1 3/4HP pump(P6RAA6F-216L) that just threw some bearings. 28k Vinyl liner pool with heater, cart filter, and Pilot SWG. No water features. Looking for recommendations on replacement (is VSP an option) and solid place to purchase from. I'm located on LI.
 
The Pentair IntelliFlo 011028 VS pump is a popular pump.

If you have a simple pool with no spa or water features consider a 2-speed pump that you run on low most of the time. A 2 speed pump will cost less then a VS pump and probably be more reliable.
