Adding chlorine at return jet...why?

Haven't done research on SWG yet, but why twice the size? Wouldn't that make everything more unnecessarily expensive?
To add to what @Newdude mentioned in his response if you have a single speed pump it can be costly on your energy bill if your swcg needs to run around the clock to produce enough fc.
You also don’t want to be barely having enough fc & run out of wiggle room in the peak of summer.

a 3x cell runs at 60%, 11 hours per day in New Jersey climate
...... so it's currently producing for 6.6 hours (60% of 11 hours) with a mild summer. (y)

With 60 degree nights and highs around 80, it's been a light FC loss stretch lately. On a particularly hot year, 8 hours (with any equivalent maths) will likely do fine.

Actually, these are the same settings I had for the last month. We did have a week of very hot weather, in the 90s, and the water reached 86 degrees. Now, with temps in the 80s and with less sunshine, FC creeped up a bit, but not that I need to do any adjustments.
