    100% tri-chlor pucks vs dual action 75% tri-chlor / copper

I've seen 2 different picks some are 100% and the others about 75% and have a bit of copper. What's the difference??

We never recommend adding copper to a pool.

    Re: 100% tri-chlor pucks vs dual action 75% tri-chlor / copper

There are no pucks that are 100%. (I assume you mean chlorine) Some have small amounts of "stuff" (like copper) but all pucks are roughly 2/3 FC and 1/3 CYA.

That said, be aware that the consequences of using ANY kind of puck can lead to problems. I would estimate probably 50% of the folks here with pool water problems is as a direct result of overuse of pucks.
