Did you add a check valve before the 3 way, so it doesn't go back into the filter when draining.

Well finished mine today, did have one leak in panel, I plugged it...so simple...I do have a bad VRV, ordered another one. I installed 4 panels for now, I have 7 more... 
What is that old valve right out of the filter for? At first I thought it was for the solar, but I guess not ... bypass both heaters?
That was in there when I bought the house, I ordered a new fitting for the filter, then will cut that out...
If I want to split my solar from one side of the roof to the other side, should those panels be higher? It would be from east to south. Thanks

I will take some photos, did you used pvc sched 40 to join the both sides? I was thinking maybe the last set of panels should be higher to drain down to the first set. Maybe not..
All 2" sch 40 PVC ... with short sections of flex pvc where the pipes enter the bottom of the panels due to the tilt of the panel banks.
I am getting lots of air in my solar system, when i bought the used panels there was a VRV in the panel, when the system is running i went and put my hand over the VRV and there is vacum , i am thinking the vave is no good, i did order a new one, what do you think?
Either the valve is no good or you do not have enough pressure generated by the pump. Where is the VRV located?
There is a VRV valve that can be dissembled and cleaned.
If yours is not that type I'd just replace it.

I put it on the bottom opposite of the feed in, that solved the bubbles, works now, again thank you...
Is there a way to test a solar sensor? The sensor should not allow the solar system to come on if its cloudy or dark out, is that right? Thanks
It is just a temp sensor, should not be in contact with the panels. There may be a way to test the resistance.
Ok right now it's connected to my solar to my controller if I unwire it and put it on the air connection it should just read the temp outside..this way I should be able to see that it works.
