running pump at night

I have a 23000 gallon salt water system, and the pump is a single speed. My question is can I run the pump at night for 6hrs to save energy and still produce enough chlorine to keep the water clean?

How ever long you need to run the pump, running it at night is just fine.

You didn't post any of your equipment specs or model numbers, so there is no way to say if six hours a day is enough to maintain the chlorine level.
