    Heat Pump Water

I gather when running there should be water coming out the bottom, or is it a leak?

    Re: Heat Pump Water

Would it leak when just the pump running also, and the heater not on? Doesnt water still circulate through the heat pump?

    Re: Heat Pump Water

Sorry. If there is water coming from the bottom only when the heat pump is running it could be sweating. If the heat pump is off and the pump is running and there is no water then all is well.

    Re: Heat Pump Water

Yeap. I'm in Lakeland, FL. I know the humidity.

Here's the link to the manual (not sure if your particular model): http://www.fwpb2b.com/customer/docs/...ump_manual.pdf
and from the trouble shooting section:

    Heat pump leaking water.

Possible heat exchanger or plumbing leak. Turn the heat pump off, then turn circulating pump off for at least one hour to see if the water leak stops. If the water leak stops, normal condensation is occurring. If the water leak continues, after heat pump is shut off for at least one hour, call for service.

    Hope the info helps.
