Re: Closing an in ground pool

See this post for what Buckman Labs (the makers of Polyquat) recommends for closing the pool. The maximum recommended dose is 16 fluid ounces per 10,000 gallons. So for 40,000 gallons that would be 64 fluid ounces (i.e. 8 cups or 2 quarts). The concentration is the standard one of 60% as is found in GLB Algimycin 600.
16,000 gallon outdoor in-ground 16'x32' plaster pool; Pentair Intelliflo VF pump; Pentair IntelliTouch i9+3s control system; Jandy CL-340 square foot cartridge filter
12 Fafco solar panels; Purex Triton PowerMax 250 natural gas heater (200,000 BTU/hr output); automatic electric pool safety cover; 4-wheel pressure-side "The Pool Cleaner"
