As the end of pool season approaches here in the north east I'm looking for suggestions on a pool cover. Primarily looking for budget minded cover to keep debris out while the pool is closed.
The cheapest cover over time is usually the most expensive initially. A moderately priced safety cover is the least hassle, looks better, doesn't allow debris to accumulate on top of the cover and as the name says, protects people, pets and wildlife from drowning. It will also last for many years.
People often buy the cheaper covers and end up with the whole cover and the water bags in the pool, along with all the crud from the top. Then they spring for the safety cover.
