So we're getting an autocover with our new pool build. We had picked out tile and coping, and today the tile guys were installing tile, and our GC brought over a couple of the travertine coping samples so we could decide which one we like best.
After the GC left, the tile guys tell me that this coping won't work with an autocover, it isn't thick enough for the fasteners for the cover track, and asked us which color of stucco we'd like to use instead.
Stucco? I don't think I want stucco.
What kind of coping is typically used with an autocover? It's difficult to find information online and I want to be a little more informed before I talk with GC about the issue.
