I was reading that indoor pools use less chlorine and also that they have different needs because they don't get direct sunlight. I am wondering if you can still use the tfpc method.

In addition to the CYA target being 20, the other big difference is that you are far more likely to have issues with CC. Depending on your bather load, in an indoor pool you may well want to use MPS regularly or add a UV system or an ozone system to keep CC under control. Just about everything else is the same.
