Hi all. Wondering if these garden hose attachments which remove metals and mineral as from you house water supply when adding water to your pool actually work? And are they worth the $50 price tag? Thanks!
Yes, and no. They will remove some amount of metals for a short period of time, but they will never remove 100% of the metals (or even 75%) and they get saturated and need to be replaced fairly quickly. The flow rate also needs to be quite low for them to be able to do their thing. So far the conclusion is that they end up being more expensive than using sequestrant.
