Deep breath you will be ok. Do you remember what the cl was when you tested the ph?
Haven't tested yet as I was still adding water ... Just turned off the water and letting everything cycle for 30 before testing

Ok if cl is below 10 ph test is accurate - use pool math to figure out how much muriatic acid to add.

What is being said is that if your FC is 10 or higher, the pH reading will not be accurate. Since you need to be maintaining a SLAM level of 20+ FC, you can probably forget about getting an acurate pH reading for now until the SLAM is done. Just keep SLAMming. The more frequently you can test and adjust FC, the better.
It doesn't look bad in the pix but it got darker and darker as the evening went on (before sundown)

FC: 25.5

Do you have an inline chlorinator or anything (or anyone) that could have added chlorine? Chlorine cannot increase on its own.
Can you please re-test and report your FC and CC?
